Apple Unit Pictures!

Peeling apples using the apple peeler/corer/slicer!

Sorting our apples and placing them on a floor graph.

Look!  I can see through the apple!

Eating and eating and eating the peel!  It was so long!
Some of the peels were longer than Miss Miller could hold up!  Probably as high as the ceiling!
Here are pictures from last week!

Busy in Kindergarten!

Graphing numbers 1-5 in our our math books today.
Painting in groups using primary colors.  Look at all the colors we made!

All these colors made with red, yellow, and blue!

 Music class with Mr. Bauer.

Here's our science experiment this week.  The first apple was touched by all the kids. The second one is untouched.  Day 2:  The "touched" apple is turning brown much more than the "untouched" apple.

Our math concepts this week :graphing apples by color, identifying "same", #1-5 graphing, inside/outside, top/bottom, counting pennies, draw "how many", ab patterns, identifying #'s, oral counting, purpose of labels and diagrams.
These concepts are simple, but the challenge is to follow directions in a group! The children are doing great!
